Tao Nightclub Las Vegas
East Meets West
Tao nightclub in Las Vegas is the ultimate East meets West experience in both dining and nightlife. With 10,000 square feet of lavish nightclub entertainment, the hefty $20 million dollars spent on development has created an oasis of pleasure that includes banquet facilities, a signature restaurant and an ultra-hip lounge. A towering 20 foot Buddha smiles peacefully upon all who enter, but choosing an evening of leisurely dining or frenetic dancing is no easy decision in this massive complex that is part of the popular Venetian hotel and casino. Although the restaurant has its merits, the true crowning glory of this complex is the nightclub.
A study in contrasts between the decor’s feng shui serenity and boisterous party guests, Tao Las Vegas’s nightclub covers two large areas of the upper level. Entering through two imposing doors into the main room, guests are immediately stunned by the sensation of light and sound. Golden tubs filled with roses and water are adorned with two equally beautiful, albeit almost naked, women enjoying the baths. The DJ booth glows with energy, pounding out favorite beats from its perch suspended high above the main dance floor.
You Had To Be Here
A second raised platform beckons dancers to the floor with demonstrations by special dancers who aren’t afraid to show how it’s done. Below the dancer’s platform is the often celebrity-filled VIParea, reserved exclusively for A-listers. Catering further to the VIP crowd are eight skyboxes, fully loaded with minibars, espresso machines and plenty of places to stash personal belongings away from curious or evil doing eyes and hands. Of course, bottle service is available as it is in all of Vegas’s top clubs. With three bars upstairs to choose from, the club’s other rooms aren’t difficult to enjoy either. Couches for rejuvenating and booths for privacy abound, with bottle service also available here. And lest your brain begins to spin too fast, hundreds of candlelit Buddha statues dot your surroundings, reminding you to slow it down.
Tao enjoys a premier location along the Grand Canal of the Venetian, a breathtaking tour of its own. Tao’s outside terrace offers guests an unbeatable glimpse of the Vegas skyline and a few breaths of fresh air, away from the madness inside.
Tao has been so well conceived that it is nearly impossible to explain each of its delights. This nightclub destination almost defies description and is not to be missed. The popular cliche “You had to be there” might have been written to describe the spectacular nightlife at Tao Las Vegas.
