Red Rock Canyon
If you want to get outside the casino, head over to Red Rock Canyon, a popular natural attraction that’s less than an hour from Las Vegas. The views here are incredible, and the hikes are relatively easy. Some recent travelers recommend bringing a bottle of water and a hat, as the weather can be hot.
The Clark County Museum is a local favorite that offers something for everyone, including a look at Native American artifacts, vintage European tools used for mining and railroading, and much more. The museum’s astronomy center is especially interesting, with the largest collection of stargazing equipment in Southern Nevada.
T-Mobile Arena
The T-Mobile Arena is another new addition to the Las Vegas scene. This massive arena opened in 2016 and is home to a number of concerts and sporting events each year.
Circus Circus and Adventuredome
If big-top fun is your thing, you’ll love Circus Circus Las Vegas, a quirky little casino hotel that’s a great option for families on a budget. The casino itself is a bit outdated, but the indoor amusement park has plenty of rides and games to keep you entertained during your stay in town.
